Where in the real life world do you live? I live in Norfolk, Virginia.
How long have you played Star Wars Galaxies? I have played since March of 2004.
What other MMOs have you played? I have played Ultima Online, Earth and Beyond, EverQuest, PlanetSide, The Matrix Online, World of Warcraft, and I am currently playing Star Wars Galaxies, Guild Wars, and EVE Online.
What type of work do you do? I am an air crewman and avionics technician in the United States Navy.
How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars Galaxies? During the weeknights I play no more than 2 hours at a time, but during the weekends I can play anywhere between 3 and 4 hours.
What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you? I log in, check e-mail, see what the guild and my other friends are up to, and then take my latest reverse engineered monstrosity, the KSE Firespray "Judgment," out for some enforcing.
What was the race and profession of your very first character? My very first character was a human bounty hunter/pistoleer.
What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I have loved games since the Atari days, but my love for video games trickled off back in high school. It took Earth and Beyond to bring me back in 2003. I play mostly SWG, RPGs, sports games, and fighting Games.
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing Star Wars Galaxies? I love writing and sketching, learning martial arts, playing paintball and airsoft, working out almost daily, going to the movies, playing console RPGs, hanging out with friends, watching football/sports gatherings, hitting the beach, and taking road trips.
What is your highest level Character in Star Wars Galaxies? My highest level character is level 90.
What race and profession is your main character? My main character is a human "Mandalorian" commando.
What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? Although he was formerly a bounty hunter, Sagardon Kahn feels like a true mercenary looking for his way as a commando. This is seen as he cuts his way through his enemies with the use of his wide arsenal of weaponry and tricks.
What faction is your main character? My main character is Rebel.
What is your favorite player owned ship? My Firespray, the "Judgment."
What is your favorite ground vehicle? It is a tie between the AV-21 landspeeder and the AT-RT. I want combat walkers eventually in SWG!
How did you choose your main character's name? It began as a joke when I was a kid. I was trying to make-up a name for a role-play character to use in the tabletop miniature game "Crimson Skies." I misheard a statement that my father had made about where his cigars were, it was heard as something like "cigar-don", and my friend and I spelled out "Sagardon" on the table. The drawing we had done of him resembled Jonathan Kahn, one of the villains of CS, and thus, the last name emerged.
Which professions in Star Wars Galaxies have you NOT played? I have not played domestics trader or entertainer.
What is your favorite expansion? Rage of the Wookiees is my favorite expansion.
What is your favorite planet? My favorite planet is a tie between Lok and Tatooine. Yes, I spent too much time in the Middle East.
What is your favorite NPC? My favorite NPC is General Ufwol in the Rori Rebel Outpost. He reminds me of my Chief in the Navy.
Which expansion do you like the least? The Trials of Obi Wan was my least favorite expansion.
Which planet do you like the least? Dathomir - it has too much potential to be so underused. (At least for now, anyway)
Which NPC do you like the least? My least favorite NPC is any of the pre-cu era NPCs that just seem to have no real flavor or use to them anymore. Time for some quest upgrades, haha!
What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? I had to replace a Guardian Lightning Cannon, which I accidentally sold to the Junk dealer (aargh), and it cost me 15 million credits.
Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? I still have my very first Krayt Tissue-modified, fully experimented Republic Blaster Pistol. It was a killer in pre-CU days, but has since been dwarfed by the addition of 10 levels.
What do you like best about Star Wars Galaxies? What I like most is that it is Star Wars. I get to role-play a Mandalorian who thinks his Firespray is better than another certain Mandalorian's Firespray. More so, Star Wars Galaxies has provided and continues to provide me with the best community of gamers, friends, brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers that I have met in ANY game that I have ever played. Without them, it would be just a game. With them, it is an experience.
What do you get out of playing Star Wars Galaxies? Satisfaction that my dreams of playing something in Star Wars have finally been fulfilled.
Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies? Before last night, I had too many to list. Now, I would say that the culmination of over two years of work trying to get all the perfect gear for my Firespray is the greatest achievement... AND Experience I have ever had. Seeing her in flight is something of a dream...but for some people...seeing her is a nightmare.
