Real life first name: Anne
Forum handle: Khristen
Main Character name: Khristen Lockslett Barezz
Server: Naritus
Player Association: Kor Spera Fellowship

Where in the real life world do you live? Wood River, IL (outside of St. Louis, MO).

How long have you played Star Wars Galaxies? I started playing about two weeks after launch (because everywhere was sold out prior to that).

What other MMOs have you played? Star Wars Galaxies was my first MMO. I have since played EverQuest II, City of Villains, and Matrix Online.

What type of work do you do? I am a freelance singer. Mostly, I sing at weddings and at church functions.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars Galaxies? I generally play anywhere from three to eight hours, depending on what I have been working on.

What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you? I start out by checking vendor mails to see what has sold and what needs to be restocked. I then take care of any guild or city communications that need to go out. After that, I hang out at one of our city's cantinas or do a little adventuring.

What was the race and profession of your very first character? My first character was a Human pistoleer and medic. I then went for master architect.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I have played tabletop role-playing games since I was a kid. I first discovered Dungeons and Dragons then I moved on to the Star Wars tabletop RPG followed by Vampire: The Masquerade and Mage: The Ascension. As far a video games go, Nintendo became a favorite for me and I still have the old NES hooked up to my TV. I have always been into computers and used to modify games in BASIC on my old Apple II. Star Wars Galaxies was my first "modern" computer game, and the first one I ever played online. I am a huge fan of RPGs; however, I do not mind the occasional HALO rampage.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing Star Wars Galaxies? Music is a big part of my life so I am usually always singing, playing, or headed off to a rehearsal. Other than that, I play tabletop RPGs with my husband and our friends. The rest of the time is spent with family and my cats.

What is your highest level Character in Star Wars Galaxies? My highest-level characters are combat level 90 and master traders.

What race and profession is your main character? My main character is a Human bounty hunter, although I have been spending more time on the alternate version of that character who is a master domestic trader.

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? As a bounty hunter, I like the damage dealing and my armor. As a domestic trader, I love being able to create all the different clothing and the color combinations, but the best part is running my business.

What faction is your main character? My main character is a Rebel.

What is your favorite player owned ship? My favorite ship is the Jedi Starfighter, although I want to get an X-Wing on my alt.

What is your favorite ground vehicle? The jetpack is my favorite ground vehicle.

How did you choose your main character's name? Khristen is the character I played in our tabletop Star Wars role-playing game. It was originally spelled Christen, but the name filter would not take that so I changed the C to a K.

Which professions in Star Wars Galaxies have you NOT played? I have not played officer, medic, smuggler, or commando in the new system.

What is your favorite expansion? Jump to Lightspeed is my favorite expansion.

What is your favorite planet? Corellia is my favorite planet and the sunsets cannot be beat.

What is your favorite NPC? The CorSec Pilot trainer that tells the jokes!

Which expansion do you like the least? Trials of Obi-Wan is my least favorite.

Which planet do you like the least? My least favorite planet is Rori. I was never fond of it before, but after the Restuss event, I do not even go there because of the PvP zone.

Which NPC do you like the least? Lord Hethrir -- he is the perfect example of an Imperial that makes them the "bad guys."

What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? Somewhere near 40 million credits to get all the pieces I needed for my Mandalorian Helmet and the rest of my unique armor set.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? I have my first DL-44 blaster. It came through various conversions horribly, but I have always had that gun and just could not part with it.

What do you like best about Star Wars Galaxies? There are so many things I love about Star Wars Galaxies, it is hard to pin it down to one thing! The world building aspects are probably my favorite thing. Being able to create unique decorations and lasting structures is something no other game has been able to compare to. It gives my character a chance to create a lasting place in the Star Wars universe. Our city of Kor Spera is definitely my proudest in-game accomplishment.

What do you get out of playing Star Wars Galaxies? In many ways Star Wars Galaxies has become more than "just a game" for me. The community I have helped to build and the friends I have made are very important to me. That community reaches beyond just the confines of the game and being a part of something like that (which I helped create), is something that really makes me feel good.

Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies? The event for our city's second anniversary stands out in my mind as one of the best experiences I have had. I never truly realized how many people not only knew about, but also cared about our city, until then. We had an awesome turnout and a massive fireworks show. It was a huge community event and it was all the better because it was centered around "my" city.

Do you run or work for a Star Wars Galaxies Fan Site? I run our guild's site at http://korspera.guildportal.com, which is our main communication site. I have also been working on a city website for us at http://annespage.com/korspera, but it has a ways to go before it is completed!
